the big picture,
alot of times people forget to look at the big picture i think...
take for example, when i was in high school i was good at athletics and because of it could be a little cocky about it
but now i've graduated and moved on, it suddenly appears that it is not the biggest thing in the world to be the school athlete, it pales in comparison with the other things in life.
so today i came across a football game, people lost, people cried, but really at the college level does it matter?
i doubt so. it should be taken more in fun and good jest, it would've meant more then even tho this particular team's dreams were brought to a premature (and admittedly unfortunate) end.
in light of the bigger picture, maybe 10 or 20 years down the road, when they look back on this game they would realise that really it was not the be all and end all...
so the point? i realised today alot of things have to be looked at in the whole context on life. does it really matter?
i suppose in the end the most important things are quite simple to define, family, good friends, food and shelter and being happy.
agree?
