about med students having to be away so much

weeeelllllll...

i guess the question and the answer boils down to the difference between
male boneheads
and females

in my experience
and the girly talks

(ok guys be forewarned you may not want to read on)

so in my experience
and the girly talks...
i've come to discover
the difference between a girl and a bonehead guy
apart from girls having real brains and guys having balls...

is that a girl is highly likely to be willing to give up her whole life for a guy she loves
but the guy will almost never be willing to reciprocate

i guess that's why we get so many housewives but not quite as many househusbands
(guys, don't give me that lame excuse.. but we are expected to be the breadwinners etc etc yada yada cos the woman can earn the dough well enough, bake it and make the bread on top of all that)

and so,
its not only med students who have to be away so much
other profession students may CHOOSE to be away so much
by simply putting their job ahead of the partner
at least for med students its.. they HAVE to be rather than they necessarily CHOOSE to be.. following?
an accountant, CHOOSES to put in the overtime
a doctor HAS TO BE on call all the time

does it bother me?
of course it does
of course i would prefer that he can be around more
i'm sure it bothers all the girls out there
and that all the girls out there have said that line more than once in their life

BUT then in all fairness and equality and yada yada
if i were working
and i had to do something
i'd appreciate it if my partner would let me do it
with minimal fuss

OF COURSE,
the aiyaaa u must go ah?
stay a little longer
helps to make me feel
LOVED too
that's why i say MINIMAL fuss
as opposed to NO fuss

also given that he's a med student
i'm proud to be able to say,
when he's away,
he's saving lives
so noble
fooiyoooooooo

it takes quite a bit to get used to it

actually, the girls may never be able to get used to it
because they are not cruel hearted like the guys
(had to get that male bashing bit in ;)

and it may take some alternative thinking to overcome it
like for example
when he's away it gives you some time to catch up on your own life
PLUS
when he's done with his work
he'll miss u like hell
and be hornier than the devil's horns

and then you can give him a lovely welcoming hug plus kisses

and then you can take revenge

lock your door
and tell him to go wank in some obscure corner for making you suffer so much
