i've been noticing things..
things like...
commerce students, engineering students and basically most other students
have to work their asses off in uni

commerce students compared to engineering students don't get as much shit to do in uni
but then again,
engineering students graduate and can get much better pay than commerce student
so i guess that's ok..
kind of like...
working harder cos you earn more

but then i said..
basically most other students..
cos i've been noticing things...

like medical students
true,
they tend to have classes...
alot of classes...
and sometimes those classes stetch out over the day 9-5
ok...
but then,
they don't have classes all the time..
they do get stretches of little or no classes... as in like less than 2 hours a day

they do not get assignments that can kill and that you need to contort your brain for
basically read up,
report on what you have seen,
present etc
no funny strange brain contorting things ala enginneering probs or commerce questions

and them assignmments..
yah.. once a semester is normal
twice is alot

and them assignments..
worth only like.. 2%, 3%
that kind of shit...

nice housemate's longest assignment so far..
that he has to pass up soon
is only 2 pages long...

homework?
what homework?
basically study for exams only... keep up in class
and that's all...

and then when they graduate..
well.. i tell you one thing is for sure..
they sure earn more than the enginneers
and job hunting?
have you ever heard of a doctor who is unemployed involuntarily cos there's not enough jobs out there for doctors?

i have to stay up late to finish my work

my housemates (3 med students)
are playing games on the computer

like...
my nice housemate gets grumpy when he has long classes
which he skips alot

nice housemate came up to me and said...
shit lar... got assignment woh... 700 words... die lar...

like...
i may not have as many classes as them
but i have more work than them

like...
they can go on holidays carefree cos there's no work given out then
and there's no nasty mid sem exams after the holiday

like..
they have bad moods cos they have long classes..
and a fucking 700 word assignment (report on what you have seen today)
that could possibly kill them

just FYI doctors can expect to earn about 4000 bucks generally upon graduation
and apparently they have to work soooooo hard...
poor things... 60 hours a week to get that...

pris, would you like to tell them how many hours you had to work when you graduated
to get like less than half of 4000 bucks?
would any of you med students like to suggest to her... maybe she only has to work 30 hours a week?
since you know... it for less than half of 4000...

auditors, one of the more higher paid commerce students
can expect 6 day weeks,
7am-10pm
starting salary?
you'e counting your blessings if its anywhere near 2000 bucks
