it must be more than a thousand times you choose to ignore it
it must be more than a million times you must have seen the evidence
that i wasn't kidding when i said i usually can tell a lie from a mile away
it was just too many wasted minutes of my life screaming at you to stop lying to me
and yet

you wished to push your luck

because if that were the truth
you would not have perpertrated the lie in the first place

i wouldn't have given a hoot about it if you just fessed up
but now?
not only am i peeved that you lied
i'm also peeved that you thought i would be stupid enough to believe you
