two wrongs make a right?

i wonder what else i could have done

Then it hits me
I could have not done the right thing
Played a lil dirty
Then i would not have been scathed

But it is not in my nature to be so crooked
Sigh...
I would have felt terribly guilty at the time
But it sure would have saved me this heartache

I only did that once ever
Even then you could not say it was wrong
It was just not textbook right
But
It did save me alot of heartache

So..
Sometimes i guess
Two wrongs do make a right
As in both the cases
I would have protected myself
Without harming anyone in the process
Just not..
