knowledge: useful or a bane?

there are people,
then there are some people
and then there are SOME

some people like chocolate
some people prefer vanilla
some people are gregarious personalities
some prefer the quiet

then there are some people
who know when other people are hiding stuff from them
some people are blisfully (?) unaware

there are those who just sense it
ignore it
and move one
and NOTHING happens
they never find out
ignorance is bliss sometimes isn't it?

there are those who know it
ask it
and are told
whatever rocks their boat baby..

there are those who know it
do not ask it
do not want to know it
yet they too are told

at this point
i'd say
its a FUCKING BANE
but that's probably what makes me so damn good at what i do
FUCK

i just wish that some would understand
not tread the thin ice around me that isn't there
and know that i prefer to be told upfront
than find out by accident (as am always wont to do)
it is really much more pleasant that way
i really hate people who think they have to compartmentalise
when they really don't have to
or worse
shouldn't

i need to watch more criminal minds damnit!
