VaR assignment

right..
am sitting in nice computer lab..
have found that too many things in the nice music playing library too distaracting
have realised that instead of studying me read story books in that nice library
so..

have moved self to nice computer lab in serious library..

and have downloaded the data that i'm supposed to massage
and get the VaR from

rite..

VaR is...
short for Value at Risk

so what i'm supposed to do is calculate the VaR for a bank

and this puny little number on my screen
is supposed to show everyone
what the bank has a 1% chance of losing
money that is...
the bank has a 1% chance of losing the VaR sum of money

1% chance of losing...
jeez.. why bother

the way i see it...
you make money or you don't

you make a the moolah
every1 is a happy
you lose a the moolah
