there are two things in this world that do not lie
1) very young children
2) computers

I always tell people not to lie to me
because they will eventually get caught out
whether i wanted to know they were lying or not
its a weird thing
even if i don't know they were lying
somehow or other,
i will always end up knowing the truth anyway

yet some still perservere
and they try
and they fail
i just don't get it
the truth really is much easier you know

if someone does something stupid
but they own up to it
i tend to forgive them
cos at least they were honest about it

the worst thing is when they lie about it
and continue to lie about it
even when i already know the truth
that really really pisses me off
because that implies they
1) do not respect me enough to tell me the truth
2) think i am stupid
3) are completely dishonest people and i don't want to have anything to do with them

for goodness sake,
don't lie
the truth may hurt but it hurts less than a lie
